Transport Options

Rosehill Gardens is situated approximately 20km west of the Sydney CBD in the geographical heart of the city, with parking available on-site. Delegates can also travel by train to Parramatta Station or by ferry to Parramatta to connect with light rail services or regular bus services to Rosehill Gardens.

Remember you’ll need to use an Opal card or contactless payment card/device when travelling to and from the event on public transport.

Light Rail

L4 – Westmead/Carlingford to Rosehill Gardens.

The Rosehill Gardens stop is located on Grand Avenue North (Camellia), which leads to the racecourse’s main entrance which is a short 6-minute walk away. The service connects Carlingford and Westmead via the Parramatta CBD. Services run regularly from 5am until 1am on weekdays and weekends. During major racedays and events, additional services will also run.

Bus

The closest train station to Rosehill Gardens is Parramatta Station. From there, you can catch the regular 920 bus to Rosehill Gardens Racecourse.

Direction: Parramatta – Bankstown
From Parramatta: Services depart from Parramatta Station Interchange, Stand A2, and stop on James Ruse Drive, opposite Prospect Street.
Return to Parramatta: Services leave from James Ruse Drive at Prospect Street and drop off at Parramatta Interchange.

Car and Taxi

Free car parking is available onsite in the members car park. Entry via Gate 1 off Grand Avenue.

Taxi Set Down – Taxis enter Rosehill Gardens Racecourse through the Grand Avenue gates. The set-down point is at the taxi rank. Taxis are not permitted to stop on James Ruse Drive and Grand Ave.

Taxi Pick Up – Organise for your taxi to pick up at the Grand Avenue end of the racecourse adjacent to the Might And Power entrance.
